Abstract Submission Guidelines

Welcome to the abstract submission portal for ISACON AP 2026. Please read all guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

General Guidelines

• ISA membership (Life/Associate) is mandatory for abstract submission
• Conference registration is mandatory for abstract submission
• Up to a maximum of three authors can be involved in a paper and 2 authors for poster. But only the first author would be the presenter. Award if won, would be awarded only to the first author.
• The abstract must be original and should not be presented elsewhere earlier
• No published papers/posters will be allowed.
• One delegate can submit 2 abstracts of different kind i.e a paper and Poster
• The review committee reserves the right of considering paper/poster for award category paper/poster (podium presentation) depending on the merits of the abstract submitted
• All the abstracts must be accompanied with a bonafide certificate from the Head of the department

• All abstracts have to be submitted online only.
• Last date for submission of abstract for paper and poster presentation is 30th April 2026
• All the abstract submissions (paper and poster) should be with the filled in attachment of following details:

• Presenting Author Name:
• Co-Authors:
• Email address Of Presenting Author
• Mobile no of presenting author
• Institute/Medical College
• Bonafide certificate submitted: Yes/No
• ISA membership No:

• All correspondence will be done with presenting author only

Time Duration of Podium Presentations

Abstract For Paper Presentation

• Only original research papers can be considered for paper presentation
• Case reports are not considered for paper presentation. However series of cases can be taken into consideration
• Abstract should be limited to not more than 300 words
• Abstract should include:
  • Title
  • Background and Objectives of the study
  • Material and methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • One table/figure as applicable
  • Two references in Vancouver style
• Authors names to be included below the title
• Word limit of 300 words excludes names of authors, references, table/figure
• Abstract should be prepared using Times New Roman font except references:
  • Title — size 14
  • Body — size 12
  • References in Vancouver style size — 10
  • Authors names in Times New Roman size 10

Poster Presentation

• All posters accepted would be e-posters only. No Physical poster presentations are allowed
• Original research, case study, case series are accepted
• Poster to be limited to one page of word document or one slide of power point
• Top of the poster should display "Title of the poster" in Times New Roman font size 14. Authors name/names in Size 10.
• Right hand corner Institute logo, left hand corner ISA logo
• Layout in portrait style, body including text, data photos and figures must be designed to appear in one window using times new roman font size 10.
• All posters must be legible with logical layout and should be self explanatory
• Single reference may be added in Vancouver styles size 10.

For Practitioners/Consultants

• May submit abstracts only for paper presentation
• Limited only to ISA members who have registered for conference
• Only original research paper would be allowed
• Three authors are allowed for one paper submission but the first author only would be the presenting author
• The paper should not have been presented or published earlier
• Approval of ethics committee (Institute proper/Affiliated medical college) should be obtained and papers with ethics committee approval only would be considered.
• Abstract to be submitted online only before 30th April 2026
• Along with abstract submission following details to be uploaded:

  • Email address Of Presenting Author
  • Mobile no of presenting author
  • Institute/Medical College
  • Ethics committee approval certificate: Yes/No
  • ISA membership No:
• Abstract should be limited to not more than 300 words
• Abstract should include:
  • Title
  • Background and Objectives of the study
  • Material and methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • One table/figure as applicable
  • Two references in Vancouver style
• Authors names to be included below the title
• Word limit of 300 words excludes names of authors, references, table/figure
• Abstract should be prepared using Times New Roman font except references:

• Out of the abstracts received, scrutiny would be done to select the best 6 papers, who will be given a chance for podium presentation
• Each podium presentation would be for a total time of 15 minutes (10 minutes presentation and 5 minute questioning)
• And the best presentation would be a combination of the scientific material in the paper and the manner of podium presentation.
